Hi everyone,
Just wanted to let everyone know why I've been missing lately I guess. My life is changing, hopefully for the better, but it's going to be an adjustment at first for sure. Stephanie has decided that she does not love me anymore, and has fallen for someone she met on irc but not in person yet, who lives in India (yeah, it shocks everyone). We filed for divorce wednesday, I'm keeping custody of both our daughters, and stuff. I plan to keep contributing to KDE, but it will definitely be a lot less than before unfortunately because of time issues. I've lots of family and friends supporting us and we will be ok, I just need to take on both father and mother roles. I'll still be on irc lurking and stuff, but will probably be afk a lot more and stuff.

Sorry to hear about that. My own marriage of 16 years ended when my wife got hung up on another guy.
I came out of it with the 5 daughters and the house. It's been crazy, but it's also been very rewarding. I have a much better & closer relationship with my kids now than ever before.
Good luck, and feel free to drop a line if you need someone to commiserate with.
hey jpwhiting,
Sorry to hear about this.
All the best for your future

Fregl and I have my SoC under control, so don't worry too much about that. Concentrate on what is really important.
Good luck.

Sorry to hear about it... but still i would suggest that you should ask your wife to reconsider her move..... leaving out of a relation for someone you haven’t seen , is not a very wise idea, especially moving out to India (if that guy lives in India), its not that India is bad or something.... Its great, I love my nation.... but the thing is there is so much cultural differences that its very very difficult to settle in India for anyone from Europe or US.... and also how can she be confirm that guy is talking with is real, i mean in 90% of the cases on internet people are on internet are just for fun, they may say anything, but usually don’t mean it.. what if the other guy is just bluffing out and playing with your wife's feeling so just ask her to once more reconsider her move ... anyways whatever happens normally happens for good, so don’t loose your heart…. Take care, Priyesh.
(in case if you are wondering who I am . I am friend of Shashank Singh, GSOC student of your freind)

Hey man sorry to hear that, it sucks i guess...
Shit happens i guess, hope you have enough strength to pull this one off solo.
Good luck mate.
I wish you all the best to get out of those hard times. I'm here to call if I can be of any help.
For better or for worse, for richer or foor poorer, in sickness and in health, until, you know, I don't feel like it anymore.
Gotta love the direction our society is headed, eh?
